The Diamond Plate Umpire Organization was established in 2023 to enhance the quality of youth baseball and softball umpiring by developing professional youth baseball and softball umpires.  To accomplish this our members are:

• Held accountable to ensure we preserve the integrity of the umpiring profession.

 

Our reputation for providing youth baseball umpires is unrivaled.  Since inception, the DPUO has made over 3000 umpire assignments encompassing nearly 2000 games in age groups ranging from 6U to the collegiate level.  Over 50% of our members umpire at the high school level and 25% at the collegiate level (NCAA Div II, NAIA, and JUCO).  We have quickly developed the reputation for providing professional and knowledgeable umpires.
